Wedding make-up: Price list & information

Consultation

I am always happy to meet for a complimentary consultation. This is an ideal opportunity for us to meet and for me to gain an understanding of your individual requirements so that I can create the perfect look for your wedding day. We will discuss everything from the style of your dress, colour scheme and overall style and theme of the wedding. Feel free to bring pictures of your dress and any magazine clippings of looks you are drawn to, as all this will help to build up that very important picture.

The Trial

A trial is essential for the bride. It ensures that you are happy with how you will look on your wedding day and that you don't have any sensitivity to the products used so that your wedding day will run smoothly with your make-up, timings and requirements arranged in advance. During the trial, I will gain an understanding of your specific make-up needs and will consider your skin, hair and eye colouring, as well as what you and your bridesmaids will be wearing on the day, colour schemes, flowers and any themes you would like to incorporate.

The trial usually takes place in my make-up studio, and lasts for up to two hours; this should be done during daylight hours to insure the same lighting conditions that your photographs will be taken in.

Your Wedding Day

On your wedding day I will travel to your home or venue and will usually work on other members of the bridal party before the bride. Touch up's will be applied to the bridal party before they leave.

Your make-up should be applied after you have had your hair styled but before you get dressed. I will work from the notes made at your trial but will also listen to any ideas you may have had since and will always chat to members of the bridal party that didn't have a trial to ensure I get their make-up perfect.

For planning purposes, I would recommend that the makeover will take 1 hour on the day, and for other members of the bridal party it will take approximately 40 minutes each.

Flower girls makeup is complimentary as it's usually just a pop of colour that's required.

Travel

Travel is charged at 40p per mile outside of a 10mile radius from my home in Exeter. Please note that additional costs may be incurred for car parking charges.

Payment

To book my services for your wedding day, please contact me to check availability. If I am available and you wish to book then I will send you a booking form, which you will need to complete and post back to me along with a non-refundable fee of £60 (this amount will cover the cost of your trial and will be deducted from your final costs).

Unfortunately due to the volume of enquiries for every weekend of the year I cannot hold your wedding date until I have received the booking form and deposit payment.

Once your trial is complete, a mutual service agreement should be signed and 50% of your total booking cost is required as part payment for your wedding day make-up. The final balance is required at least seven days before your wedding (if paying by cheque) or on the day (if paying by cash).

Cancellations

Should you need to cancel your appointment, please contact me as soon as possible. If you cancel your appointment within 6 weeks of the date, a late payment charge of 50% of the total booking will be charged.

Cancellations within 10 days of your wedding date will be charged in full. Please note that in addition to this your deposit fee is non refundable. I ask that any cancellations are made via telephone AND email where possible to save any confusion. Please note: payment of a deposit and sending a signed booking form means that you accept these terms.
